Safety helmet can be used as a head protection device for drivers and passengers. It is generally composed of the main cap shell, facial protective plastic lens, ear protector, rotating disassembly device, hat band and buckle device.

Body cap shell mold
The quality of the main cap and shell is related to the life safety of the driving personnel. The plastic cap and shell mold developed by our company design team has high quality, high efficiency and high speed, which can solve the production efficiency problem for customers. We optimize the mold from many aspects: mold structure, mold steel, cooling system, hot runner system, etc.

Die structure design
According to different helmet styles, we design 1~2 cavity for customers to choose. In addition, the wind-permeable helmet is of patchwork type, which is convenient for processing and safe positioning. Full and reasonable cooling system, so that the mold production stability, efficiency, prolong the life of the mold.

Die steel selection
Usually, the core and cavity of the motorcycle helmet mold are made of imported 2738 steel, which has the advantages of good dimensional stability, machinability and high mirror grinding performance. After heat treatment, the hardness can reach HRC32-38. The slider adopts imported 2344, and the hardness is above 48. In addition, the gravity removal process makes the product reasonable use time rationalization.

Hot runner system selection
Qualified hot runner system can ensure a balanced and stable injection of the mold gate, so as to produce a better plastic helmet. We adopt the needle valve gate design for the mold to effectively ensure the quality stability of the product.

Helmet lens mould
The plastic lenses on the helmet can prevent wind, sand and slow down the effect, wear for a long time will not have the feeling of dizziness, directly affect the safety of the rider driving and movement. Steel use Japan NAK80 grade above brand, lens mold belongs to the high precision plastic mold, the mold surface shape is complex, material is difficult to cut, high precision requirements, its manufacturing and processing technology has higher requirements than the general precision plastic mold. Through the analysis of injection molding process of helmet lens mold, we adopt the method of combining machinery and grinding to process it. We have a five-axis machining center for processing, which enables the helmet lens mold to obtain higher cutting efficiency and better surface quality. Then, polishing and grinding were used to reach RA0.01, so that the surface of the lens mold could maintain good flatness and reach zero diopter and scattered luminosity.
